Pintxos were quite underwhelming. The one with salmon on top was promising but had too much mayo and unclear ingredients in the basement (just pasta?). The one with Jamon and pate had too much sweet jam on top. The one with anchovy and seafood was fine. The selection of pintxos wasn’t too wide. Vermont was good and the price was good too. Overall I wouldn’t recommend

A nice, if expensive, white linen table service restaurant in the middle of the market. Enjoyed the food and the wine. The staff were lovely, spoke English (even if we wanted to speak Spanish), but very useful if you don't have Spanish. We usually eat here when waiting for the ferry. Very relaxed, definitely no rush to get the table back. All spanish customers except us.

A beautiful restaurant in a small indoor market, staff were very welcoming regardless of my embarrassing attempt at speaking Spanish! Offered a taste of wine before purchase witch is fantastic. I had the braised beef cheeks for dinner. They were delicious! This is a very authentic Spanish restaurant I would highly recommend. I would advise ignoring previous bad reviews the experience you get is how you treat the locals. Santander is definitely a city more people should visit!
