Early dinner in Santiago and this place was the cherry on top for our trip. We diced to go for the set menu as we wanted to try different things. Teh highlight for me were the berberechos with chicken broth...amazing!! Then the meat was fantastic too and the cheesecake of the abuela with the lavender merengue was WILD!! I fell in love with this place. I hope I can go back at some point in my life.

I was excited to try the award winning Japan burger. I'd eaten at Michelin star burger restaurant, Minetta Tavern, in NYC and also supposedly one of the best in the US, Au Cheval, in Chicago. So I was excited. But nope, not for me. Maybe the front of house could've given me the unsolicited lecture on how to best order burgers in other places in Spain (I'm half Spanish, visit regularly....) Really really fabulous food. Small servings, but so much to share. Eggplant in yoghurt sauce, leeks with cheese sauce. We went for lunch and came back for dinner, to try the chef's tasting menu. It was just amazing. 6 courses cooked to perfection by the team here. Such intelligent and thoughtful cooking. The service was outstanding. Our waitress was professional and so kind. Very highly recommended. Is go back in a second.
