I wanted to share a unique experience that really stood out to me. In February 2026, we were transiting through Dubai and unfortunately found ourselves among the passengers stranded in Dubai due to the ongoing conflice. During that time, we dined at Biggles Pub a few times - and while the experience at the time was a welcome relief, what happened weeks later is what truly impressed me. When we returned home, we realised we hadn't received itemised invoices for our meals. This turned into a real headache when we approached Emirates Airlines for meal reimbursements - they wouldn't reimburse with till receipts alone. I decided to reach out to Biggles with very little hope. I shared photos that I had taken of the till receipts from the time. Rather than turning me away, the team at Biggles Pub went above and beyond - they went back through their archives and tracked down the exact itemised receipts and sent me photos of these. A great little spot if you're stuck in an airport hotel and you want a cold beer or any kind of cold drink. It's got that classic British pub look and feel, but the warmth comes from the staff. They were very friendly and happy to provide good customer service. Prices are like all of Dubai - not much you can do about it but cry and drink. The music could be a little more pubby (eg rock, blues, classic hits etc) but it's a warm and inviting spot with plenty of sport & people watching.
