Very disappointing visit. We’ve been customers at the Rose and Crown for years, so we know exactly what the food used to be like — and the difference now is very clear. The quality has dropped significantly, but the prices clearly haven’t. The gammon is no longer even served on a hot plate, and mine arrived cold on a regular plate. For £10.25, I got a very small piece of meat, about ten chips, a few peas, and a tiny tomato — absolutely not worth the money. My partner’s mixed grill (£14) was just as poor.
