Absolutely lovely place to eat. Went there with my eldest niece, two of her children and one of my daughters. Husband and wife from somewhere near Turkey 🇹🇷 run this Popins Cafe` Very efficient waitress, Amele (sorry if I spelt it wrong). I asked for hot water, she was not sure if I had to pay. Amele took our orders and went to ask the manager. Amele came back to our table and said the hot water was free ( usually 75p). I asked to speak with the manager of Popins Cafe`(forgive me, I do not remember his name), however myself and my daughter knew few Turkish words and he was very delighted to

Went in for Breakfast meal and how delicious it was. At £8.15 was impressed. Nice service too. Only thing missing is that I couldn't find how long it had been there as I remember it being there for years.... 1984 I was told. Amazing. Extensive menu. Nice atmosphere and reasonably quiet late morning on Friday.

Clean, affordable, friendly service, good food and feels like an old English greasy spoon (though without the grease!) Really enjoy coming here when I'm in need of a good breakfast. Feels like one of the few proper Bedford institutions still remaining!

Disgusting food dripping with grease… I gave it ago anyway and pulled a long strand of hair out of my mouth. This was so disgusting and I had a milkshake that was watery milk with some drizzle on the side of the cup. You can tell it is all the cheep Lidl food it’s cheep but you can tell. The place is a state definitely wouldn’t recommend the woman making coffee is always having a moan about something or someone…it’s okay to crack a smile. The boss it’s always having a moan at the staff while he sits there doing nothing on his computer
