A quiet Tuesday after the Bank Holiday so it wasn't going to be buzzing. The lady at the bar was welcoming and we sat down decided on a mixed grill. Went up to order no steaks left until tomorrow couldn't understand why she didn't tell us before we found a table! Anyway back to the drawing board and we decided to have a couple of different dishes and do our own mix up and it was good. Food was lovely and hot and nicely presented (pics don't do it justice) and we enjoyed it. So all in all a good visit. We would go back if ever we are in the area again.

I am a fairly regular customer of the Ship and find the food to be generally good and reasonably priced. I went with friends on Wednesday and we had the festive menu. The food was plentiful and delicious as well as being inexpensive. I had the very tasty mushroom wellington for a main and my friends had turkey, which was succulent and thickly sliced .We genuinely would not have been disappointed had we been served this food at a more expensive eatery on Christmas Day. Would definitely recommend!
