This place was… pleasantly fine 😄 Food arrived hot, tasted good, and nobody in my group started questioning their life choices, which already puts it ahead of many dining experiences. Nothing blew my socks off, but also nothing made me want to dramatically push the plate away and sigh. A solid middle ground. Service was friendly, the vibe was nice, and my stomach left satisfied and not holding a grudge. Would I travel across town just for this? Probably not. Would I come back if I was nearby and hungry? Absolutely. Sometimes “just okay” is actually pretty great.

We had a 12 noon reservation on a Saturday. After a warm welcome and seating, we got set on perusing the menu. In December it’s hard to pass up on the seasonal menu and the two or three course options offer exceptional value for money. Our table had sea bass, the cod and the traditional turkey and ham, all of which were perfectly cooked, presented and served. The plates were so well balanced and thought out, every ingredient on the plate complimented the other- the exact same can be said for the desserts- the sticky toffee pudding is one of the best we’ve tried ever!
