I am on holiday in Belfast. The Chester was within walking distance from my lodgings. I read the initial reviews; at the time of my review were a 4.0 so I was a little skeptical. The bar/pub itself was beautiful, clean and cozy. It reminded me of a lodge in Montana. It was a bit later in the evening so I had already eaten dinner. When I came in there were quite a few guests at the bar and at the dining tables. Football (aka soccer was on the tube) There was a young lady being trained and several staff members about. Had a great experience here! Luckily it was midweek so it wasn't too busy. Enjoyed cocktails, beer and some very very good food. The muscles are delicious, the steak was amazing and the rest of the groups food looked amazing. Definitely a great place.
