Decent Eritrean food. Fast and friendly service. The food was cooked fresh and came out quickly and hot. We got the mixed meat and veg platter which had a lot of beef - wish there was some lamb in there. Price was definitely one of the highest compared to other Eritrean places around london. I love this place. It was recommended to me by an Eritrean taxi driver who drove me once, as a good place to taste authentic Eritrean food in London. I have now been 4 times, and loved every one. The hotel Ney wine is excellent, as are the injera and everything delicious you can scoop up with it. If you aren't certain, go. Take a friend Get a platter. Try a bunch of things and then you will get why it's such a joyful experience to share good food with someone you love and eat with your hands.

My husband and I have been eating Ethiopian/Eritrean food for decades. We thought we had eaten the best, until we came here. Adulis exceeded all our wildest expectations. We got the meat platter for two and it came loaded with 2 types of chicken, shrimp, two beef options and salad and every single item was a 10 out of 10. The flavours were so elevated, each item perfectly seasoned and meat cooked to perfection. And the soft, pillowy injera was the perfect accompaniment. We truly can't wait to return!
