I asked friends for a recommendation of nice places to eat for our anniversary and The Golden Fleece was recommended. Staff were friendly, service was great and the food was unbelievable. Myself, husband and 15 year old son (who is hard to please) loved all of our food. We will definitely return!

Lovely pub. Easy to get to (short distance from M62) and plenty of parking. Food was delicious and really good value. Staff were great and service was fab. There was a singer on which was an unexpected bonus - the pub do a themed bottomless brunch every fortnight which looked brilliant.

This place is our go-to pub, it literally has it all! On evenings and weekends it’s a great place for date night or drinks with friends, lovely dinner menu, lovely cosy atmosphere too, through the day they offer the best lunch menu around, the staff are so amazing at what they do! Never felt so welcome, whether you’re just passing by or you’re a regular, the greeting is always warm. And the food?! Always a level up! I have driven past this pub so many times but never been in. Me and my sister were taking the mother to Readmans (next door). We parked up, my sister suggested we pop into the pub for a drink before Readmans. So, in we pop. As we had parked at the back of the building, you don’t get the best impression of the pub. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but as soon as we stepped inside, I was impressed. All thoughts of having lunch anywhere else were immediately expelled.
