This is a hidden gem. I say hidden because I have driven past it hundreds of times. Called in to meet friends and to watch the rugby. Such a good atmosphere. Really friendly staff. We saw others eating, and the menu choices so decided to stay for dinner. Really delicious home cooked food. Would recommend. The locals tell me that their Sunday roast is good, so I will booking a table for next weekend.

Myself and friend visited for dinner. Neither of us had been to this pub for many years. We were pleasantly surprised at the current decor of the lounge/dining area. Having decided on the 2 courses for £13.95, I had tomato soup and crusty bread, my friend the mushrooms on bruschetta. Both were very tasty. Next we both had rump steak cooked medium rare. Steaks were juicy and tender with all the yummy trimmings. We'll both be back and can recommend.
