James Pearson★★★★★A lovely clean pub restaurant with very friendly staff. I was staying in the premier in attached to the pub and had both my evening meal and breakfast in there. Upon arrival at both meal times the staff were super fast at finding me a table and on both occasions they were spotless and clean (not always the case in busy places). The menu is small but had a nice selection of items from curries, pizzas and standard burgers through to pub classics like pies as well as "fish and chips". Michael Coleman★★I don't like to give a bad review but our dinner here was not a good experience. They were busy but only at the start of the evening. Our starters took over half an hour to come. They were mixed quality. The mains were not delivered much quicker. The pizza was overcooked so the base was a biscuit. The Thai curry was ok as it goes. The desserts were the best event, with the least delay (it was quiet by then). Over 2 hours for the whole shebang. And the smoke alarm over our table needed a new battery. It peeped loudly throughout.

Service was quick and efficient, and the place itself was clean and tidy, which made for a pleasant experience. We would definitely stop in again if passing and looking for somewhere reliable to eat.
