Excellent pub/restaurant opposite Eastbourne Town Hall and Saffrons sports ground. Excellent venue, I changed my mind at least 3 time, when I saw different fayre being brought out. In the end we went for the Ploughman's which was huge & Excellent value. Also had Long Man ale, which was Excellent too. Lovely young lady doing the waitress duties too.

Lovely Sunday Roast. Great portions. Excellent waiting staff. Really great for a family meal. Only slight criticism - the Earl Grey tea - brand needs changing as this one tasted of mushrroms and brown paper!

I used to come here 50+ years ago when it was a steak house... prawn cocktail, steak n chips, then Black Forest Gateau for about £2.50!. My oldest sister had her wedding reception in the upstair function room!!! Now a lovely pub / gastro pub. Good real ale selection. Had to have Harvey's Sussex Best Bitter. Madge had a local wine, only £11 a glass. Casta should take her home to Spain.
