My fiancé and I celebrated our engagement here and had a beautiful afternoon tea. The staff were absolutely fantastic and were so kind throughout our time here. The building was absolutely beautiful and the classical music playing in the background was lovely. We have done quite a few afternoon teas, but the food here was definitely one of our favourites. The amount of food you get is incredible and you definitely will not leave hungry! They also brought us out an extra sweet treat that had a congratulations on it for our engagement which was such a lovely surprise. Over all we had an amazing

We had a fabulous afternoon tea here at the Balmoral’s Palm Court tea room. The service was top notch & every bite was delightful. The tea selection is expansive and they even had a lice musician playing a harp in the balcony. If you’re a fan of high tea, this place is a must visit while in Edinburgh.

High tea here was divine. The savory bites were delectable. The staff was very friendly and approachable for people new to tea. As a parting gift, you are given some of the Balmoral blend of tea. There were also take away boxes if you were unable to finish any food.

We were booked in for the festive afternoon tea. It did not disappoint. Setting is beautiful, the table was beautifully set. Staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. The food was amazing, both regular and the vegetarian/vegan, accommodating my likes and dislikes (thank you). The wee touches too were extremely lovely. A little gift, even the boxes to take home were perfect. Thank you for making our day that bit more extra special.
