Had a great visit to Victoria Pub. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, making it a perfect place to unwind and spend time with friends. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout. The pub has a great character, a good selection of drinks, and a lively yet comfortable vibe. Everything was well organised and the overall experience was fantastic. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great local pub.

Friendly pub with fair prices and a mix of locals and students. Am told it's a good pint of Guinness. Layout splits the pub naturally into 3-4 different areas, plus a courtyard out back, so you can choose what kind of atmosphere/noise level you want! Never witnessed any trouble. Lots of TVs so they can show different sports simultaneously. Sometimes have a DJ on later on at weekends/holidays.

Went for what was meant to be a lovely drink with my fiancé. Turns out thats not possible in this place. Possibly the rudest member of staff ive ever faced behind a bar. Time to name and shame imagen.

I ordered the Helles lager, a drink I’ve had in other pubs in the area and always found to be quite enjoyable. At the Vic, this pint was absolutely revolting and made me feel physically ill. I assumed I’d just got the end of a bad keg, but my next pint was a premium brand lager, and this was almost equally as disgusting. We will not be returning.
