The Grey Horse Inn is a perfectly reasonable small pub (it seems even thinner from the outside). A mixed crowd (from drunken pub golfing youngsters to civilised old boys), robust service and local beer on tap - what more do you need? Cozy.

Another regular place to visit on returns to Manchester. Famously small intimate atmosphere with excellent Hydes beers. The Hopster was new to me and a very refreshing drink.

Proper, quiet drinkers pub. No nonsense, just a very well-kept pint at a reasonable price. Good range of Hyde's excellent ales. Me and a colleague were suitably refreshed after a hard day's work and a curry. Unsure about food offering but that wasn't why we were there

Very good small Hydes pub about ten minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station. Four cask beers on handpump when I visited including a ruby ale. Small outside smoking area to the rear. Not too busy after the Spurs game at the Etihad!
