Another great traditional pub in the centre if Glasgow. Good selection of beers and great food. We had the mac & cheese (very nice) and the Big Yin burger (which my husband thoroughly enjoyed) Live music most nights so we stayed to listen to a guitarist doing covers. Very impressed with the ladies toilets. Great to see not only a good selection of feminine hygiene products, but also hairspray, deodorant and makeup wipes. Very thoughtful 😊

What a great find, we just missed out on the live band, which was a disappointment. The music was great after, though. Great atmosphere. Lovely inside. The only downside, and this is not the staffs fault, it was busy when we arrived. All the seating was taken. However their was a reserved table for 6.30 pm. The customers had obviously not turned up, and it was quite a large table. Maybe suggest a 15 minute hold on reserved tables. We would have stayed longer, and ordered food ( which looked very nice), there was just nowhere to sit. Love all the music/artist themed posters on the stairs. Very

MacSorley's is a great traditional pub. It is famous for being a live music event with lots of bands on over the weekend. There's a great selection of draught beers lager and cider. There's plenty of seating and a mezzanine Floor above the bar for when the pub is really busy, giving great views of the band. I haven't tried the food but the menu look very tempting and the food coming out of the kitchen looked very good. The staff are very friendly and welcoming a great lively pub highly recommended.

This place was not far from the hotel and I was a bit jet lagged - not sure if I should sleep or push through. I opted for dinner and soak up a pub atmosphere. What’s not to like about convenient, great music, great service and a local vibe. If you’re in the mood for a break from sight seeing and in the vicinity - it is worth a pit stop.
