We're halfway through January 2026, and frankly, my belated resolution is to ensure I visit The Gate at least once a month... and bring along other lost souls who are missing out on an utterly fabulous venue. Whisky was excellent and great value for the ticket, food pairings from Sebbs were delicious, but the chat and service provided by Andy & the team are what makes the Gate so standout - you're not a customer, you're a warmly welcomed guest. Located right across from the iconic Barrowland Ballroom, this is a lovely spot that effortlessly blends a cosy pub feel with the flair of a cocktail bar.
