Lisa M★★★★Loved the interiors of this restaurant, although I neglected to take any photos to prove its beauty. The Service was top notch! We arrived too early for the butchers block menu however, the very lovely restaurant team obliged us to one anyway. Everything tasted fantastic especially the truffel mac and cheese and chicken thigh tenders. I also treated myself to a local cider, which was delicious. We came away very full and happy and will definitely be returning.

We had already ordered drinks so asked if there was anywhere on empty tables we could sit, we sat on the managers table used for staff doing emails. There was a female waitress who we asked if there were any cancellations or people who had eaten and left could we have their table! She quickly found us a table and we ordered the steak sharing platter! Wow it was so tasty, the house red wine was delicious and the 1985 lager really good. Staff service,
Mia★★★★★My partner and I visited Dr Foster in Gloucester this afternoon for a bite to eat, and from the moment we walked in we felt genuinely welcomed. I had booked a table in advance, and although there was a small issue with our table being taken, the young lady who served us was incredibly kind and immediately invited us to choose any table inside. We ended up in a cosy corner, which was perfect. We ordered the Lamb and Beef Roasts from the Sunday menu, along with pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese as sides and wow.
