Came along for the bingo and ended up having a really lovely time. The roast dinner was great. Nice portion size and very tasty, just what you want from a good roast. The service was friendly and everything ran smoothly. Ben the Bingo caller (Ginger Giggle Club) was a really nice guy and made the whole bingo experience good fun - Had a couple of wins too ! All in all, a great visit. Happy with the food, the staff and the atmosphere – will definitely be back!

I visit here periodically as part of a cycle route along the Thames path. The pub staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is good. I wanted to leave feedback regards the food, which has always been outstanding. Today we redeemed a free meal after several visits - again the food was excellent - the Thai green curry was freshly made (as was my friends pie and mash). A real gem of a place.

What a wonderful discovery! Went to walk along the sea wall to see the art and get some winter sun and came across this delightful pub. Wondeful atmosphere, staff, vibe - great food at a fab price (massively recommend the burgers and cheesecake). Spent the afternoon playing some of their games - Backgammon and Connect 4. Luckily I don't live too far away so I can go back soon for some of their events - a really interesting mix of stuff coming up - bingo, quiz, love music and DJs.

So I've been wanting to try this little hideaway for a while, and i must say it was worth the wait. We were booked in for 1pm, but didn't eat till 2, but do you know what, we didn't mind, the owner was there apologising for the wait and offered us a free round of drinks. When our roast came, it was hot, the onion gravy was delicious, you could tell everything was home made, even the Yorkshire puddings, and the roasties crunchy on the outside soft in the middle, perfection. The atmosphere was like family, it was our first time, but instantly felt welcome. We will be going back, hopefully to one
