The coffee here was decent enough – a solid cup that did the job – but unfortunately the overall experience was let down by the condition of the café itself. The place feels quite tired and in need of some attention. The floors looked like they hadn’t been properly mopped in a while, and there were noticeable cobwebs around the windows. The décor also feels dated and worn, which adds to the sense that the space hasn’t been refreshed for some time. With a good clean and a bit of care put into the environment, this could be a much more pleasant spot to enjoy a coffee.

A nicer environment to savour the delicious coffee and tea in the most exquisite cup and saucers than the more well known coffee shops on every high street. The Barista was lovely. Downstairs was a little busy, a few people working, on lap tops and on calls so we took our delightful cups to the lounge upstairs. So, much quieter with a book swap too. Comfy settees and arm chairs. Perfect for escaping the noise of the city.
