Visited Harrogate recently and wanted to avoid the obvious tea room choice having already enjoyed it elsewhere. Stumbled upon this little gem and absolutely loved it from the start. It has that typically slightly eccentric look about it. Warm, homely, and welcoming, with a small dash of bonkers Englishness. Who in their right mind would have tea cups hanging in the windows and an entire wall decorated with old mirrors? But here it somehow works. Kind of makes you feel like you're on a visit to an elderly relative somewhere. Cosy and familiar feeling in a way that larger premises rarely manage.

Such a good lunch! The tuna melt toastie was delicious. The hot chocolate came with a cute gingerbread biscuit. And the decor was really cosy. Would definitely go back!

A fabulous tea room with brilliant service and lovely food. We ordered tea for two and got a big pot of tea and a top up, hot water pot. The pie and peas was delicious and surprisingly filling. Lovely setting, with a welcoming vibe.
