We had an exceptional meal yesterday. My wife had the seafood linguine and the pasta was cooked to perfection (coming from Italy she should know). I had the plaice which was absolutely delicious. We also had salt and pepper squid to start which tasted great and was beautifully crispy. The staff were excellent hosts with great service. The meal was excellent value for money too. We will definitely be coming back again. This place is a hidden treasure.

Friendly waitress, a bit cheap look of the interior, food was basic… scallop sauce is too heavy and a bit of sour, the skate fish was tender but I’ve tried better version in other places… the spaghetti in the seafood pasta isn’t al dente, not absorbing the sauce either, we cooked way better seafood pasta ourselves at home so we were quite disappointed…

We had an amazing meal here, I’d recommend to anyone who’s visiting Hastings or lives there. It’s quite a small restaurant so I’d highly recommend booking especially on a Saturday night. But that added to the cosy/local feel of the restaurant. Being so close to the sea, the food here was incredibly fresh, with specials depending on what’s caught that day. Standout dishes were the mackerel pate starter and the seabass main. Delicious!

We had a lovely meal here. The plaice was so light and the sauce was full of flavour and complimented the fish. My partner had the prawn linguine which he loved. Great atmosphere, staff very friendly. Andy the owner was so friendly and hospitable. Great to meet you all and we will back to try more of your delicious food and banter 😊
