One of Hitchin's original pubs, that recently re opened, after a £600,000 re furbishment. You can see that as soon as you walk through the door. Beautiful bar area, with wood floors. Excellent decor, and music at a good level, so you can talk. Large restaurant area, with large terraces to the rear and side. Toilets are upstairs, beautifully fitted out, with a stair lift, for people with mobility issues. As it was a Monday, there was a two for one pizza deal. Pizza are excellent, some of the best we have ever had. Booking advisable. To sum up, great place, good vibe. Not to be missed.

Got invited for the - Local Heros Free Meal - The day before opening day and it looks amazing, very neat and tidy, staff were lovely and polite, Cam stood out for me as he was very welcoming. Great Darts games. Dog friendly. Decent back seating area with a TV for the Live sports or programmes.

We love going to The Radcliffe. The atmosphere is always great and the staff are friendly and welcoming, which is why we keep coming back. We had the Sunday roast and, overall, it was very good. The beef was beautifully cooked and incredibly tender. The only criticism of the roast itself was that the potatoes were a little overcooked and dry. Our main disappointment was the dessert. We ordered the Spiced Apple & Maple with Shortbread Crumble and Custard. The last time we had it, it was outstanding, so we were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, this time the apple seemed overcooked

Visited recently to take a look at the new refurb, it is absolutely amazing! Really like the new decor, lay out and vibe. Feels more chic with elements of the old rustic style. Great new menu with lots of options, we decided to try out the new burgers and sides. They also now have interactive darts! 🎯 Definitely will be my new local 🍻
