I've heard lots of good comments about the Derby Lodge over the last year. So I decided to go and check it out in person. I attended when it was lunch time hours. The place was welcoming, the staff were friendly and the food was nice and the price was great. Me and my son had a 3 course meal and a drink for under £29. I noticed the pub got busy whilst I was there. I will definitely visit again in the future. The unlimited breakfast for £10.99 looks tempting so I might consider checking out the breakfast deal on my next visit.

Staff were amazing, food was good, however the decor and safety of the restaurant is horrendous, never seen it so bad!

Food was ok and enjoyed, lady on reception was lovely. Service unfortunately not up to scratch as no one approached us to submit our order so the lovely reception lady had to take it in the end. Approached by a random waitress at the end of the meal asking “do you want change” in a terse unfriendly manner implying that a tip was expected because we were sat waiting with our £20 on the bill note. Shame as the restaurant is really nice.

Had a lovely breakfast here this morning. Lovely hot cooked breakfast from Dave. Looked after by Joe and Sarah. Great value for money, especially the kids eat free when you get a adult breakfast. Excellent service and lovely food.
