Have eaten here a few times now and the food is always consistent. Everything tastes good, full of flavour, and you can tell they really care about quality. The okra fries are absolutely to die for - perfectly crispy every time and easily one of the best sides on the menu! We had such a wonderful time celebrating our daughter’s birthday at Afrikana Ilford! 🎉✨ It was our first time visiting, and although I was hoping the restaurant would be a bit bigger, we absolutely loved the setting and atmosphere—it felt warm, stylish, and perfect for a special occasion. Such a great evening out at Afrikana Ilford. The staff are super friendly we had Fatima-I think she is the store manager-and Bliss, who were both so attentive making sure we were happy or needed anything else. Food was nicely presented, flavourful and good portion. The prawns starter is a must have! Recommend the Afrikana fries as a side. Will be going again to try more of the menu!
