We have visited Afrikana a bunch of times.. though mostly for a takeaway order, once we did manage to sit down and have a meal. Most of the staff is always lovely - warm and friendly...(especially the lady who often welcomes us and another gentleman too, unfortunately i dont know their names) I love their chicken thighs/butterfly chicken, especially with their signature sauce and their yum cole slaw! When we visited we had the bunny chow and a steak dish - both were excellent...and i loved the okra fries!...crispyyy from the outside and soft on the inside!

have visited this branch a few times now, the food and service has always been lovely. our server Taha, was polite and helpful. the menu is huge, with loads to choose from. my personal favourites are the Afrikana fries and their loaded mac and cheese. the pulled beef tacos were not the one! but I guess it’s good to try everything lol. also love their mocktails. only downside is that they’re defo on the pricey side. but can’t wait to go back and try more off the menu!

Afrikana is a cosy clean restaurant and defo worth trying. We got a variety of dishes. Some we liked and some not so much. Id defo order the loaded mac and cheese it was a clear winner. The meat all tasted similar and some dishes had too much sauce. The meat was cooked as I asked. The desserts were so good. The cheesecake blew me away.
