My wife and I walked past a few times during a visit to Inverness and decided to try it. Absolutely lovely decor throughout (including amazing murals through the stairwell to the bathrooms), and friendly and helpful waitstaff. Even the dishes are cute! We especially enjoyed the haggis bon bons, and the cranachan pudding!

Their Cullen Skink was very tasty. The smoked haddock in it was plentiful. Main courses - a steak burger and seafood linguini - well prepared, good portion size. The langoustines were well cooked and the mussels clearly fresh. The one slight disappointment was the Cranachan dessert. Not sure the “fresh cream” was actually fresh cream and it was devoid of any whisky taste. More obvious toasted oat content would also have helped. The service we received from Tia was attentive and helpful. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very much tourist oriented. Even the sinks in the toilets are tart

We had the most wonderful dinner at Aye Eat Inverness. After seeing posts on social media and having passed by regularly, we had to try the food here. Not only was the food amazing but the design of the restaurant was phenomenal. They have paid so much attention to detail to ensure you get the absolute Scottish experience while dining. Great atmosphere topped off with professional and efficient service made this a fantastic experience for my family. A must visit restaurant when in Inverness.
