George McLeod★★★★★Outstanding service and wonderful meals on our recent visit. We were running late for a train and we were not only warmly welcomed but our meals orders were expedited and delivered quickly. My chilli chicken was superb, the lime yogurt dressing was a nice touch. Our vegetarian friend was delighted with the choice and enjoyed the carrot, goat cheese and red pepper roulade. Scallops were spot on. The "Happy Chappy" beer was good too! Top marks to Emma and her colleagues. And we made the train.

We both enjoyed their delicious haggis bon bon and the chef’s signature dish, the venison. Then their sticky toffee pudding and white chocolate and coconut cheesecake… All to die for. The staff were so warm, friendly and attentive. We just wish we had more days in Inverness to repeat, but will for certain in the future.

The beef and the venison was cooked beautifully as we requested and the wine was superb. We'll definitely come back to try the rest of the menu. We would have loved some very low ambiance music as the customers around us can be heard quite loud with the place being so cozy. Be prepared to bring some cash for tips, as they can't take card tips sadly!
