This was the most delicious Portuguese restaurant we’ve tried in London. The Arroz de Marisco completely won us over — rich, comforting, and just the right portion for three eaters. We polished off every grain of rice. We also had the Brás-style cod tapas, which was absolutely delightful. Highly recommended for anyone who loves seafood and hearty, soupy rice dishes.

Very nice dining experience. We tried Ameijoas a bilhao pato (clams in garlic and wine sauce), lulas frescas (grilled squid) and, peak of the dinner, Arroz de Marisco (lobster and seafood broth with rice). Everything was quite good, but the lobster and seafood rice broth was quite rich and delicious.

My go-to Portugese in London has always been A Toca in Lambeth, but Caravela might be my new top choice! The food is prepared and served in traditional Portugese style, the steaks are cooked to perfection, and the beers are served with a delicious frozen top. The service was Emanuel was also faultless.
