Came here for food last night, disappointed is an understatement. Had mac and cheese with pigs in blanket's, pigs in blankets where over cooked like bullets, no taste, was like porridge stuck together absolutely inedible other people’s food I was with was hard and over cooked. Did tell the manger who gave us a free drink and was told that’s all they could do. Staff are friendly, nice atmosphere but they need a new chef it’s terrible my 10 year old could of done a better job.

Had a lovely visit to Eagle & Child! The food was absolutely fantastic — everything was fresh, tasty, and really good quality. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It’s also a great place for families as they have games and even a bouncy castle to keep the kids entertained. Such a brilliant atmosphere for both adults and children. Will definitely be coming back!

Nice old pub, reasonable price menu,food ok but missing garnish and certain items on the meal that the menu said was with it, macaroni cheese had no taste like from a tin , cauliflower wings greasy.
