There were 7 of us and I had reserved a table (it was busy so you definitely need to reserve I would say). The staff were quick and efficient in seating us and taking our orders, bringing our drinks and then the food. I had the beercan chicken and as you can see the amount of food was plenty and I needed help with finishing it. I didn't want to leave any as everything on the plate was perfect and tasty so shared some out. Everyone said they also enjoyed their meals and drinks. For the price you can't go wrong. Would definitely go back, so happy to recommend.

I have had a barely passable meal of cottage pie WTH tender stem broccoli there was none and kale which was beyond serving to cattle see photo the pie was ok but clearly dry on presentation I asked for a little gravy which arrived quickly but has the consistency of something you can fill potholes I have eaten the pie as I am Hungry I will drink my ale and go. Be warned

A tale of two bits. We ordered drinks at the bar and to be told a 40min wait. That's fine. We know and can deal with it. An hour later and a theatre show to goto and it's no food. The manager explains it's another 10mins maybe and quite nicely buys a round. Thank you. Was the food OK? Yes. OK. Nothing more, and it's not cheap in there so expectations are high. We watched the chef while we waited and it was simple to see what it was a wait. Order in. Cook it. Next order! I thought this place was more expensive. There was an initial issue with my order for food but quickly rectified with no issue. Staff really accommodating, providing tasters and recommendations. Saph was really good given only 4 weeks in the job. Thanks to manager Soph as well. Don’t realise there was a little beer garden too which is a bonus on rare sunny days!
