We hosted a wedding party at B&K in their private function room and outside terrace this weekend. Catia and the team couldn’t have done more to help! Really quick to respond to emails over the last 6+ months, so helpful on the day with setting up, and there on the night to make sure everything ran smoothly. It’s a perfect private space for a party, especially with the outdoor terrace. No venue hire cost or minimum spend, and we they closed the room off early for us to we could decorate it during the day. This a really nice to stop by in Chelmsford, close to train station and bus station, open from early at 11AM and really nice building. They offer many beers and also specialls depending on the time you visit, however be careful, it is kind of a tourist trap (more below). It is nice, service very courtious and a place you want to spend time while drinking béer. Fancy in a way, and clean restrooms. For my stag do in April, 17 of us did the brewing day experience. We cannot recommend it highly enough! The whole day brewing, trying different beers and learning about the beer making process. Their master brewer, Rhys, was so knowledgeable and made the day so much fun. We all had the best time. Rhys even named our batch of beer "Shaun's stag", which was a nice touch, and they put it on tap 3 weeks later. Great day, great company, great hosts, and a keg of beer each to take home!
