I took my Mum, Wife & Son to The Speckled Hen for Mothers Day. Booking was easy. I phoned up and spoke to a person to Michael. We arrived 5 minutes early for our booking. Michael (the fella that took the booking) treated the mums with a glass of prosecco - a great we touch. The mums loved it. We were shown to our table and there were heart chocolates on the table. Another great touch. The food was unbelievable. All plates were cleared. Well done to the chef. We were not rushed into ordering our food which made everything more relaxing. Instead of deserts, we asked for Irish coffees. Suzie m

The food here was insane. Since coming to Belfast, we just wanted a good, wholesome pub meal. And this place completely exceeded expectations. The menu had something for everyone, and all the meals were just so tasty. I feel like they were the best chips I’ve ever had. The service was really good. Atmosphere was really good. Especially as a visitor to Belfast, it was a great place to be amongst the locals and get a feel for the area. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

Haven't been to speckled hen in over 10 years, My wife and I brought our two boys in for dinner on Saturday 7th February, we realised what we have been missing. This place is absolutely phenomenal. The staff are Brilliant, So helpful and caring. Met Lisa last night for the first time and it felt like see knew us and my boys for a life time. Incredible service to say the least. Bar manager took the time to go over the whiskey cupboard and signature book. Couldn't have asked for a better night. Cheers

Great food and a very lovely place. Cosy on the inside, with a nice beer garden on the outside. Service was great as well, except my order got mixed up, and I had to order an extra dish to get what I originally wanted. If you like whisky, they have a quaint Game of Thrones menu. Highly recommend the soup, scallop risotto and squids.
