Really nice place, cosy in the winter and it seems like it would be great fun in the summer too. The food was served hot and tasted great, and overall we had a really enjoyable time. There’s also a fireplace, which is nice if you’re looking for a pub that has one. The waitresses were very attentive and kind. It was our first time there, and definitely looking forward to going back.

I had Sunday lunch with my family and can honestly say the meal I had ( Korean Chicken ) was probably one of if not the worst meal I have had at a restaurant. To start with it was served up Stone Cold so I sent it back and then of course when it was returned the salad and watercress had been nuked in the microwave with the rest of the ingredients making them totally unedible. The dish showed no imagination whatsoever with the so called Crispy battered chicken consisting of 3 small bits and 2 slices of chicken covered in a sauce that evidently came out of a bottle . Every time I come here I leave disappointed lol. I came for a beer and a sandwich and sat in the garden. When I arrived and walked up to the bar there were 2 staff members behind it that made eye contact with me and then walked off without saying anything to me. A "I'll be with you in a sec" would've helped. I then ordered my drink when they came back and then went and found my table. I went back to order my sandwich and the girl who served me was very lovely and no problems there. When my sandwich came the same girl was walking about asking people if they ordered a sandwich.
