We went here for the first time to celebrate a joint family Birthday and what a lovely time we had too. From the moment we were met at the desk to leaving we were treated amazingly well. Our table for 4 was well spacious to accommodate all our plates and drinks. The staff were exceptional especially our Waiter Andre 👌. He was fabulous from the start right to the end. We had a joke each time he came to the table. He was there at any moment we needed him with genuine care. He told us a few stories but I have forgotten the name of that amazing large meat dish you can get whilst in Portugal. Food

Lovely waterside location. Large outdoor area with plenty of tables. Friendly staff and nice interior. We didn’t eat there - but menu looks good - although we would have had some snacks/side but they only had 3 options (skin on fried, chips or onion rings).

I have been to US , Europe, Australia, Malta the main wellington mushroom I ordered was one of the worst main I ever had. First, our main came 35-40mins late. Not happy at all. Wish I could get refund on this main. I couldn’t eat anything apart from carrots on my plate. Visited second time: today our food was exceptional & delicious to our liking. Country soup of the day was excellent. Thank you for serving us .

We enjoy coming to The Boathouse, usually for lunch. Today was no exception. André was a brilliant server. Very friendly, attentive when needed and super efficient. We definitely have some menu favourites and the food is always a decent standard. The atmosphere is relaxed, however, today we were sitting below a speaker and the somewhat eclectic music was a bit too loud (we didn't say anything so entirely our problem, not theirs!) Love that they accept tesco reward vouchers so food is basically free 😁
