This was my second time at Gino's and they truly don’t disappoint! The parmigiana starter is to die for, and I also love their Amatriciana pasta and Americana pizza. The atmosphere is super cosy and has an authentic Italian feel with vibrant decor. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is that we were a fairly large group chatting away, and the noise carries quite loudly as it’s a smaller restaurant. I’d also have loved a bit of ambience or some Italian music playing in the background, but otherwise everything was perfect!

I had such a lovely experience at Gino’s in Oxford. The surprise highlight was the coffee, which tasted just like the ones I’ve had in Italy. The carbonara was wonderfully authentic, the pizza was decent, and the hospitality was warm from start to finish. And OMG, the parmigiana with eggplant was absolutely divine.

I had a lovely experience at Gino’s. The ambience was welcoming and relaxed, and the customer service was genuinely excellent — attentive without ever feeling rushed. The parmigiana was very good, and the pizza ai funghi was perfectly fine, though not the highlight of the meal. What really surprised me, though, was the coffee. Absolutely outstanding, rich, aromatic and easily the best part of the experience. Thank you, Gino for a memorable visit. I’ll be back for that coffee alone.
