Great plants. Great variety. Just wish they'd get some decent easy to use trolley s .they are old and hardwork to push around once it gets heavy with stuff theyre nearly impossible to steer. I noticed that dobbies at teeside had much better trolleys and wheelchairs, come on Dobbies, get birtley updated and improve toilet cubicles . They look so dated

Almost missed this place. The sign is tiny and hard to see as you’re driving by. Busy place but more for the cafe than the garden centre. Has a load of electric car charging bays out front but none of them have any power so you cannot charge??!?!??? The Cafe was very busy but the tables were being turned around quickly. Cakes were lovely. Had Rasberry Ripple sponge cake and the Persian Lemon cake. Coffee was barista made but had some coffee grounds in the bottom which was disappointing.

Visited the cafe yesterday, it was very dirty in particular the bench seats were stained and the padding was non existing. The store was about 50% empty looked like they were about to close down. We will not be back.The Brie and cranberry panini was £10 which is the most expensive panini I have seen, however the cream scones seemed to be good value.

Great garden centre, great for everything you need for your garden, plus fabulous choice of houseplants. Patio furniture, dog food and accessories, toys, books, candles , door mats, bird boxes, wellies, so much under one roof. Large outdoor section which includes summerhouses, pots and every plant you could possibly need. The cafe is fabulous serving toasted sandwiches, hot food ( limited choice daily) cakes and refreshments. New Review and stars deleted.
