Great food at a reasonable price. Order and pay at the counter and collect a table number. Hot drinks were served almost immediately and food delivered very soon afterwards. We had all day breakfast and the avocado and poached eggs on sourdough which was all delicious. The price is now are a bit different from what has been reviewed so far

Really enjoyed our breakfast at this unique ‘greasy spoon’ cafe. I got the vegan feast and added hash browns. I was very happy with what we got for the price we paid. And they didn’t charge extra for plant milk in my coffee! All the breakfast components were tasty, especially the mushrooms, the service was quick and staff friendly and welcoming. This is a lovely location with lots of character. The cafe is inside an arch and is long & thin inside, so space is a little limited - not a problem at all for us as we opted to sit outside and enjoy the harbour views - but worth noting for larger grou

This place is so incredibly special to me, and my visit recently didn't disappoint. My grandparents Bill and Wendy used to run Ship Shape, a long time ago. When I visited recently, I worried it wasn't going to feel the same but it was lovely, the people in there were friendly and attentive. The oat latte was just right. It will forever be special to me x
