A very charming pub in a lovely location. The staff were exceptionally attentive throughout our stay, always on hand to help with anything we needed and very informative. The room was comfortable and well presented, with beautifully soft, freshly scented bedding. The mattress was also excellent and ensured a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was outstanding — genuinely knockout. Everything tasted fresh, with high-quality local ingredients cooked to perfection.

We are regulars at the lamb in Angmering and decided to hire the venue for my daughter‘s wedding as she wanted a very small intimate occasion. We had just 40 guests. After a beautiful candlelight ceremony in Arundel Town Hall. We then moved onto the lamb in Angmering for a candlelight supper. As per usual the staff excelled themselves from the Manager to the chef, to all the waiting staff, a real credit to the Newbon family, they were absolutely fantastic. Stayed from Fri to Sunday for a wedding. Came with my partner and immediately made to feel at home by the lovely Adriana who sorted out a booking issue and booked us in the restaurant on the night. Nothing was any trouble for her and she was head and shoulders above any staff at any hotel we have visited this year. Well done for being our amazing host 👏 food was amazing...room was lovely..and even returned our bag we left in the bar ... one of the friendliest nicest pubs we have been to..first time in findon.... a lovely memory shared ..

A warm welcome, a wide range of delicious food offered from light bites, sandwiches, a great 2 or 3 course menu plus specials and great wine list. Set in the heart of Angmering village and showing pride in this with historical local photos, this pub is a gem and I look forward to returning for more. Our party of 5 were very comfortable and happy in the lovely bay window of the restaurant, those enjoying a drink at the front looked happy in the sunshine, plenty of seating and there’s an enclosed garden terrace.
