The room was comfortable and well presented, with beautifully soft, freshly scented bedding. The mattress was also excellent and ensured a great night’s sleep. After a beautiful candlelight ceremony in Arundel Town Hall. We then moved onto the lamb in Angmering for a candlelight supper. As per usual the staff excelled themselves from the Manager to the chef, to all the waiting staff, a real credit to the Newbon family, they were absolutely fantastic. Came with my partner and immediately made to feel at home by the lovely Adriana who sorted out a booking issue and booked us in the restaurant on the night. Nothing was any trouble for her and she was head and shoulders above any staff at any hotel we have visited this year. Set in the heart of Angmering village and showing pride in this with historical local photos, this pub is a gem and I look forward to returning for more. Our party of 5 were very comfortable and happy in the lovely bay window of the restaurant, those enjoying a drink at the front looked happy in the sunshine, plenty of seating and there’s an enclosed garden terrace.
