I hadn’t been to Salts Mill for 30 years, but it’s even better than I remember. The fish and chips was outstanding, as was the sticky toffee pudding. Efficient and friendly staff. I won’t leave it another three decades till my next visit.

Great food for a gallery cafe! Hearty Niçoise salad, actually filling, good pizza. Amazing desserts.. generous Americano and strong 💪 It’s diner/cafeteria style, a little noisy, but with charm. Family friendly. A great spot and the money, in my book!

After a lovely time mooching about we were so looking forward to a cuppa and a slice. Arrived and had to queue, why I have no idea, there were loads of free tables and staff milling about. The server who took our order clearly wasn't enjoying their job. The carrot cake was ice cold, either been in the fridge all day or just recently out of the freezer - either way not great. To top it all, grossly overpriced. A bit of a sad end to an otherwise lovely day at Salts Mill
