My wife, who is wheelchair user, and I visited Salt Mill this Saturday 7 March 2026. We have been here before 3 years ago. While the Exhibition and displays are great but the place itself is not 'disabled friendly' for this century. Only one accessible toilet which doubles as a Baby changing room also. If a inconsiderate parent occupies about 40 minutes for a nappy change the disabled person 'bursting' is snookered! Trust me we faced that situation! There is one small lift servicing the whole building and a disabled person could end up waiting a long time to go up or down. I accept and apprec

A fabulous place to visit, all free of charge! Including a large free carpark. Lots of books and art supplies on sale, including an amazing antique shop and a museum of artifacts from the mill, an amazing display of Hockney paintings, fabulos photographs from the past including life stories of local residents and a fabulous cafe - great food, excellent service all at reasonable prices. An absolute delight!

I had a lovely weekend visit to Salts Mill. The shop was well stocked and had an array of items. It was huge! Theres some lovely cafes in there and a cool antique shop.
