Firstly, useful info. 1. We tried calling on Easter, but couldn't get through, so booked online, and were worried we might come to the closed doors. On arrival they obviously just learned from their system we booked at all. But there were tables, so no problem. 2. They adapted the dishes to the milder english taste. So if you tried hungarian food before, or if you are acustomed to, say, indian food, you might want to let them know you actually want spicy. We didn't and it was a mistake for us. Cute place, he staff was really lovely and understanding abd helpful if you never had hungarian food before, the horseman joy is very delicious and the dumplings are so nice and filling, I would recommend the homemade lemonade. This place is fantastic for a date. 10/10 would recommend to everyone

News are around that lakehouse is perhaps closing and I’ve been meaning to come for 4 years but its soooo far from the city I only decided now. Was soo cosy and tasty, we were looked after 100%. Food came quickly and super tasty! Interior deco is very authentic. Wish someone invested and it could move closer to the city + some good old advertising, I could order take away on a lazy sunday night! My non-hungarian partner always loves “porkolt”. :)
