Went to Caffè Nero today and ordered myself a cortado . As it looked a bit milky I asked the barista guy called Ayub if I can have a few extra drops of surplus coffee from my order as per photo . He said he would have to charge me for it although this is surplus coffee from my order and it will be poured down the sink . Very disappointing service from this particular person and this is not the first time he was not helpful . I will not go to this Caffè Nero ever again if this is how they treat their loyal customers . Plenty of other coffee shops in the area who appreciate my business . This

I enjoy having my coffee here and reading. I like the comfy chairs! But, that's where the good ends unfortunately 😕. The place always looks like it good do with a good clean and the service is so slow - usually just 1 person serving (& for weeks the trainee was the only person serving!). I only go as I said because I like the comfy 'reading' chair!

This shop has a lot of furniture to ensure maximum seating available. I feel this takes away potential character and uniqueness of the setting. I thought long about why it doesn't feel great to me, maybe because it feels like a business place. There is nothing wrong with that. it depends on personal preference I guess. It is usually crowded, full of both adults and children, friendship and family groups. There are a couple of single tables, too. Great experience at Caffè Nero. The barista was on her own, working hard to keep tables clear and look after everyone — you could really see she was trying to make people’s day better. Tall, half-blonde, black glasses, I think Eastern European with a slight American-sounding accent. Coffee was nice and creamy and the pastries were fresh. ☕🥐
