Golden BBQ do the best shish kebabs. I keep meaning to try other things but the shish kebabs are so delicious I keeping having them. The grilled chicken is so tasty😋 and they are very generous with chicken and salad. Fairly healthy as well as takeaways go. All the staff are great too. Always warm, welcoming and friendly. Long may their success continue. 😃

DELICIOUS! Been looking for a great kebab house and finally found one! I've tried other places where the lamb doner is nice but the chicken doner is bitty and dry or the lamb doner is nice fine but the chicken doner tastes funny...but Golden BBQ seems to have nailed it! Chicken and lamb doner was super tasty and lots of it, fresh salad, amazing garlic sauce...what more could I ask for? 😋

I've lived nearby for a few years now and I've really tried to like this place but I honestly don't get the hype by others or the 'awards'. Firstly, I've ordered at different times and noticed that if you order early or late it appears the BBQ isn't running so they just use a heat pad to cook the meat instead, which kind of defeats the object of ordering from a place that has BBQ in its name. Secondly, the portions are small, and I don't want to be overly critical, I get running costs are high but as an example if you look at grill and oven in Dinas Powys there is no comparison with portion
