The other day, I had the chance to visit Mama koko’s Baltimore with my spiritual brothers, and it reminded me why this is one of the most unique cafés I’ve ever been to. I have been here several times over the past few months. You’re greeted with a smile by everyone. The hospitality is great, they are actually worth the tip, even with their self serve structure. The Morning Protein and Greens is so delicious. I love to see a restaurant offering a black cultural breakfast option for us. The atmosphere and aesthetic offers a great multipurpose vibe to meet, relax, study, or convene. I have to end with the fact that I am very particular about the quality of my matcha’s. Their matcha latte’s are delicious and they offer ceremonial grade.

2/8/2026 - No communication amongst employees. I completed ordering our items to be told that they couldn't make my egg nog latte, which was the only reason why I was there. Rum Butter Buffalo Wings ($13) - They looked scrumptious, but had the flavor of absolutely nothing at all. There were only 6 served....yup for $13. First time visit was today. Mama Koko opens at 11 am on Sunday and we arrived there early; had pick of the tables. First walk in we were greeted. The place has a cozy feel with rustic appeal; art and music vibe was chill. The Peanut Butter latte was absolutely delicious; I also ordered the Dirty South breakfast and Gin and Juice cocktail; delicious; the grits were a bit runny for my taste but nonetheless everything was awesome.
