Alphonso Mayo★★★★★The other day, I had the chance to visit Mama koko’s Baltimore with my spiritual brothers, and it reminded me why this is one of the most unique cafés I’ve ever been to. I usually stop by in the mornings when I’m working in the city, but the evening energy hits just as high. There’s something about the atmosphere — the warmth, the intention, the way people greet you — that makes you feel like you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. What really sets Mama Koko’s apart is the intentionality in their food. You can taste the care in every dish. It feels like when your grandmother cooks somethi
Shakerra Daniels★★★★★I have been here several times over the past few months. You’re greeted with a smile by everyone. The hospitality is great, they are actually worth the tip, even with their self serve structure. The Morning Protein and Greens is so delicious. I love to see a restaurant offering a black cultural breakfast option for us. The atmosphere and aesthetic offers a great multipurpose vibe to meet, relax, study, or convene. I have to end with the fact that I am very particular about the quality of my matcha’s. Their matcha latte’s are delicious and they offer ceremonial grade.
Usawa Andwele★★2/8/2026 - No communication amongst employees. I completed ordering our items to be told that they couldn't make my egg nog latte, which was the only reason why I was there. Rum Butter Buffalo Wings ($13) - They looked scrumptious, but had the flavor of absolutely nothing at all. There were only 6 served....yup for $13. Sriracha Caesar Salad Warm - Simply ok Of course I never received Spiked Egg Nog Latte
Adrian★★★★★First time visit was today. Mama Koko opens at 11 am on Sunday and we arrived there early; had pick of the tables. First walk in we were greeted. The place has a cozy feel with rustic appeal; art and music vibe was chill. The Peanut Butter latte was absolutely delicious; I also ordered the Dirty South breakfast and Gin and Juice cocktail; delicious; the grits were a bit runny for my taste but nonetheless everything was awesome. Loved the vibe, and service food. Parking was a challenge; had to squeeze in between two cars. I would definitely recommend and I will hope to return. I did not want t
