The oldest roastery in Bend, I want to buy Bellatazza's beans due to the owners relationship with the community in Guatemala where 75% of their beans comes from. Stewart, the owner has personally been giving back to the Guatemalan community financially for 23 years. It's awesome to know that there are ethically sourced coffee places locally. I should also mention Stewart is the model community member here in Bend and we love that.

Service was great, the barista was very friendly but jesus christ that scone was insanely salty. Coffee and other food was alright, nothing to write home about but oh my lord that scone was bad I physically couldn't force myself eat it and it's such a shame wasting such a large amount of food (the scone was giant). There are so many great coffee places in the area, I wouldn't risk trying the stuff here, very hit or miss.

- We went at around 11:30 AM on a Monday and it was mostly empty (which was great for us!). Plenty of seating inside and outside. - Smiling, upbeat workers who seemed to enjoy working and engaging with guests. - The food was all great! We got a scone, empanadas, and a breakfast sandwich. The hot food was the perfect temperature and appeared freshly prepared. The scone was loved by my girlfriend although I would have liked more berries in it, but it was huge! This place is the heart of the community! The owner is an absolute champion. The coffee is stellar and I’m a total coffee snob. What really shocked me is how amazing his empanadas were!! He makes them by hand daily and they were some of the best empanadas I’ve ever had and I used to live in Latin America. Don’t miss out on this gem! Plus it’s in the heart of downtown! What more can you ask for??!!
