My husband and I both got the Portuguese Benedict. It tasted good but was kinda disappointing. We both thought it lacked salt and the chipotle hollandaise was missing something. It was good despite that. But for the price we paid it wasn’t worth it to us. If they had table service it would have been more worth the price. (You order at the counter and they bring you your meal). I think this place would benefit much if they touch up their food a little and started providing table side service. It would make for a more welcoming environment and more of a restaurant experience.

I love coming here. The service, ambiance and food are always fantastic! I love getting a soup/salad combo. It’s nice to have a restaurant like this with more unique options than your typical pub/brewery which are everywhere in Bend. Love the photos from Portugal and the great music they play. Makes it feel like a little escape.

SINTRA is my absolute favorite breakfast spot - and in my top 5 for ANY meal - in Bend. The food is terrific, creative yet approachable. The service is wonderful and engaging. The vibe is light and easy. There is often a wait, but it moves quickly and in my opinion totally worth it. I cannot imagine how you could be disappointed. I hope you enjoy!

We got breakfast, and while the main meals were good, the pastel de nata was the star of the show. Truly, I think it might be the perfect pastry. The custard filling was balanced, delicious, and had a great consistency. The caramelization on top was perfect, and so was the pastry bottom. The pastry was buttery but not at all greasy, crisp yet delicate, and amazingly flaky. It was faultless and amazing!!
